Constant Lahousse

on my way to become a Front-End Developer & UX Designer

A student

I’m a UX Design and Front-End Development student at HEAJ (Namur, Be) who loves the web.
I want to create interactive experiences and find solutions to problems. As a curious guy, I’m always searching to learn and discover new design principles and new development technologies.

For me, it's not just about having an amazing idea after a couple of hours. What really matters is trying new things to get the right result, even if I fail three, four, or five times.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.

- Albert Einstein

From the idea to the experienceIdea to experience

That’s why I always start my projects on paper, where I can sketch my ideas, my notes, make some wireframes. I love the freedom I have this way.
Afterwards I can work on a computer, ask friends, teachers, and family for feedback. I think it’s important to share your work with people outside the web business, to get opinions from real users.

I use tools and technologies like Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML5, SCSS (or Sass, depending on my mood) or jQuery, but I'm still learning.
In the world of the web you learn something new each day, and that's why I love what I do!

What I've done

Take a look at my projects, each of them were created with passion and by following my design process.
